Charles S. Cramer, Jr.
October 26, 1948 - June 11, 2019
Charles Cramer, Jr., was born on October 26, 1948 in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania to Charles Cramer, Sr. and Catherine Sutton. He departed this life June 11, 2019.
He received his early education and graduated from Kennett High School in the public school system in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He received an honorable discharge after being injured in the Vietnam War.
Charles worked as a Welder Supervisor for 30+ years at the Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania, before his retirement. He also retired from after 10+ years Pennoni. He also worked as a security guard.
He was a member of the Thunderguards for 30+ years. He was also a member of The American Legion (VFW). He loved riding his motorcycle. He was a hunter and he loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Burton; siblings, Dennis Cramer, Bobby Cramer, Johnny Cramer and Dorothy Ann Cramer.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Yvonne Cramer; his children, Andre Cramer (Brenda), Kevin Cramer (Gwendolyn), Nicole Cramer, Robert Valentine and Kim Thomas; parents, Charles Cramer, Sr. (Thelma); grandchildren, Erin Cramer, Nala Cramer, Kvonn Cramer, Kevin Cramer Jr., Josh Collier, Jordan Tann, Kendra Brown, Zariah Cramer, Isaiah Cramer, Jasmine Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Ezekial Valentine, Minaya Valentine and Maliya Valentine; great-granchildren, Jaeonna Thomas, Jeniyah Thomas, Miah Tann, Kennedy Tann, Khaliq Brown, K'onnie Brown and Kimorra Brown; siblings, Lynn Cramer, Norris Cramer, Matthew "Matt" Cramer, and Charlotte Cramer and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 North Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19802; with viewing from 9:00 pm 10:45 only.
His interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, 424 N Union Street,Kennett Square, PA 193348.
